Historically, customers have measured the cost of their travel programme by looking at the price they paid for a flight, train or hotel stay. Recently (over the last two years), our industry started to get excited about adding expense data into the mix, to look at the total cost of travel – however my approach is different. My approach looks deeper than this, and crosses over into combining customer measures – such as sales targets, and combines it with a more granular traveller experience view.
